Making Friends, NOT Sales!


When someone shows up to your social media page, they shouldn't be able to tell you are in networking marketing.


Think about having lunch with friends. If you're only talking about your business, I am pretty sure you are boring the HECK out of them. That's not all they want to talk about with you.


What ELSE are you talking about?


Who are you?


You are not your business, you are SO much more than that and have so much to offer.


Think about showing up on social media like having lunch with friends. People aren't coming to your page to purchase something. If they already knew what they wanted, they wouldn't be going to a stranger on the internet.


Posting pictures of your products is a huge turn off to your online community. Posting products doesn't allow connections to be made in other areas of your life you may have in common.


The vibe you give off when posting products: BUY from ME to BENNEFIT ME. New followers are walking away before they even step foot in the door.


Take a look at your social media and ask: Why would someone follow me?


Would you likely follow someone who lists in their profile who lists their business, or someone who shows up as a busy mom of littles who loves books and baking?


Give your audience a way to relate to you, then you can paint the picture of how your business, products/services has changed you life in the role you are showing up as on social media.


Introduce the business, products/services with out ever having to post pictures of your products.

Use the KNOW, LIKE and TRUST Factor to build relationships: They will get to know you through your content, like your content because you are relatable, then trust your recommendations when you start to introduce your business and products/services.


3 Things to Focus on when Creating Content:

1. Focus on Sharing <not> Selling. Your goal is to share your experience through your products and how they've changed your life.

2. Focus on Results <not> Products. Products GIVE the results, but people are looking for results (even if they don't know they're looking for it.

3. Focus on Value <not> Price: The price can make someone take a step back if they don't know the value your products provide for their life. This also gives off the "Buy From Me" vibe.
